Leica has announced that Profoto’s Connect flash control will now be compatible with Leica SL system cameras. The Profoto Connect Pro serves as a remote control and central hub between the camera and flash units. It connects to the camera via the hot shoe, ready to be used immediately, allowing photographers to have fast and precise control when adjusting the balance between ambient light and flash on set at any time.
With its clear and intuitive controls, the slim flash trigger works reliably and consistently under changing light conditions, where the established TTL and HSS functions can speed up the workflow.
The flash output is calculated automatically in automatic mode and can then be adjusted with the Profoto Connect Pro. Photographers can adjust the exposure to their personal style when the unit is used in manual mode.
The Profoto Connect Pro and Profoto products will soon be available in selected Leica stores. It is available in other retailers and independent Leica stores at a cost of £339.

I got some issue using it on my SL I can only use it manual for a short time then it automatic went to auto on my D2 lights . Maybe some firmware with the camera issue .
Does anyone know if it works with Leica M cameras?
Long overdue but excellent news!
