Fujikina photography festival comes to London in September 2025

A two-weekend photographic festival in September, Fujikina, will be a focal point for all photographers as well as Fujifilm enthusiasts…

A worldwide event dedicated to photography will take place in central London on two weekends in September. Fujikina is aimed at anyone interested in photography, the arts and photographic techniques.

The varied agenda over the two weekends includes live talks by acclaimed photographers, exhibitions, interactive workshops, seminars, panel discussions and interactive photo walks. Fujikina will take place in the Covent Garden area of central London in three separate venues — The Stables, The Conduit, and Fujifilm’s House of Photography in Long Acre.

Master classes and workshops

Since its launch in 2017, Fujikina has been staged across many cultural capitals, including Tokyo, New York, Berlin, Stockholm, Prague, and Milan. Furthermore, it has become established as a globally significant event which will appeal to photographers in general as well as committed Fujifilm enthusiasts.

Master classes and workshops will be led by several expert photographers, including Tigz Rice, Lateef Okunnu, and David Shoukry. In addition, inspirational seminars and talks will be hosted by photographers such as Olivia Arthur, Sean Tucker, Emily Endean, and Rebecca Douglas, on topics across a whole host of photography genres, from street, to content creation, film-making and reportage.

Instax experience

One focal point for visitors will be the series of Instax Photography Experiences, demonstrating the creativity of instant photography. Visitors will be able to try the latest Instax cameras on photo walks with expert photographers.

During the two weekends, Fujifilm technicians will be offering a free gear check and clean, limited to two items of photography gear.

Magnum World of Colour

In a special exhibition, Magnum Photos, in partnership with Fujifilm, will present “A World of Colour” featuring rare and unseen images from the agency’s Paris colour archive. In 2025, Magnum began digitising more than 650,000 colour shots using Fujifilm’s GFX100 II medium-format technology. As a result, “A World of Colour” is both a heritage and exploratory initiative, marking a milestone in the long-standing cooperation between Fujifilm and the agency.

In London, the exhibition will offer an intimate look at the United Kingdom through untold stories, alongside newly commissioned works from Mark Power and Olivia Arthur, shot exclusively on Fujifilm’s GFX range.

The activities will take place on September 18 to 21 and on September 25 to 28. Tickets can be purchased here in various options, starting at just £10 for a general admission pass. Full details are available at the ticket website.
