App Store: Million downloads in 24 hours

Apple today announced that over one million applications have been downloaded in the first 24 hours since the Mac App Store opened for business. As I said yesterday, this innovation is going to be a huge boost for Apple and for the OS X platform. More Mac users will get more out of their computers; they will chat with friends and demonstrate apps, just as iPhone owners have been doing for the past three years. The potential is enormous.
