My long-awaited Kickstarter project LunaTik watch housing is on its way, according to an email just received from Minimal Studios. This reminded me that the iPod Nano I bought last month is sitting in a drawer waiting for installation into the new aluminium-and-rubber designer LunaTik when it arrives.
Much as I have a love of fine watches, I’m not sure that this new contraption won’t be a bit too big and brash. Having played with the Nano, though, the watch functions are actually quite impressive, with change of time zone and stopwatch functions built into the OS. The only snag I can foresee is the need to wake up the Nano every time I want to know the time. I will provide more details on this when the LunaTik lands, presumably early next week.
