How on earth can there be a further 22 fake Apple Stores in one city without anyone noticing? Kunming, which reached notoriety last month for harbouring several very well-done fake stores, has now sprouted more. All these spurious outlets have been choked off by officialdom. After all, “Chinese laws prohibit copying the ‘look and feel’ of another company without permission.” Just so we know. Kunming retail watchdogs have now set up a hotline where any more fake fruits can be reported. The mind truly boggles.
