Kindle Touch, $99, Kindle 3G with lifetime connection, $149

It’s the new Kindle Touch which loses that awful keyboard, shrinks in size and adds some new tricks such as an X-Ray view to get deeper information on text. A 3G version with lifetime connection worldwide, is $50 more.

Now we have another new model, a smaller, lighter version of the current Kindle 3 at $79. It has faster page turns, no touch screen but navigation buttons. No keyboard, so I’m not sure how you buy your books. Amazingly, this new device weighs only 6 oz. It looks like there will also be a Special Offers version, with ads, at an even cheaper price.
