Israeli flash memory company could be Apple’s largest ever acquistion

Apple’s biggest-ever acquisition is in Israel of all places. Reports indicate that Apple has paid between $400 and $500 million for Anobit, a developer of flash memory. Only the purchase of NeXT for $404 million compares. Anobit produces flash-based memory that is more reliable, faster and better performing than that used in Apple’s current ranges.
