Apple’s billboard advertising and a new White House

During the last week in Washington, DC, I’ve noticed more bill-board advertising by Apple than I’m used to seeing in London. Sometimes it seems to me that Apple hardly needs bother to pay for advertising. The incredible value of product placement and free mentions leaves no one unaware of the iPad or the iPhone.

Meanwhile, on another tack, if Mitt Romney strikes lucky in November, this could be the new White House. It’s the striking Mormon Temple lurking behind the foliage. This tiny crop from a through-the-windscreen shot was taken from two miles away on the Beltway.
