MacBook Pro Retina: ArsTechnica’s review

Now it’s time for the 15in Retina MacBook Pro to get the in-depth treatment, this time from ArsTechnica. Another excellent review. The lustworthy retina screen is  copiously drooled over, as in other tests. The only downside, it seems, is that this is still a big machine compared with the little Air we’ve become accustomed to. This was my reaction when I fondled it in the local Apple store. Closed, it looks like a lunch tray. Hefted, it feels lighter than it looks. And it is light when you pick up the 15in non-retina model.
