With the introduction of iOS 6.0 we will all have to get used to @icloud.com email addresses. Ten years ago we started with @mac.com and then migrated to @me four years ago at Apple’s behest. Older users will even remember .mac’s predecessor, iTools. So far this hasn’t been a big problem because dot mac users automatically received equivalent @me addresses. Both still work. Presumably, we will all now get @icloud versions so we can flaunt three different iterations of the same email address. Am I alone in thinking that all these changes are getting a bit tedious? Maybe Apple should settle on an email domain and stick to it, irrespective of what it chooses to call the latest version of the cloud.
Let's hope they just did settle on one !
