Such a guy is Victor Cajiao whose Typical Mac User podcast I’ve been following for three years. In the course of countless episodes I’ve learned much about Mac use and got to know many experts and industry pundits who have faced Victor’s interviews. Only this year Victor started another potentially great series, Rangefinder Moments, with lots of behind-the-scenes information on Leica cameras.
I’ve been a bit behind with listening to my long list of podcasts so it came as a shock I heard that the Typical Mac User series had come to an abrubt end over a month ago. Similarly, Rangefinder Moments has also ended after only seven episodes. Victor has had to cut back on his workload following health problems and has had strict instructions to de-stress. It has always amazed me how he could hold down a day job and yet produce several polished podcasts a month, including the still-current photographic series, Typical Shutterbug Podcast.
I’ll miss Victor’s cheerful voice and his constant quest to learn more about his favourite hobbies. We, the listeners, have learned along with him over the years. I wish you well, Victor, and I hope that you get well soon and, perhaps, rekindle your passion and obvious talent for podcasting.
