New MagSafe plug gets the thumbs down

“One of Apple’s best ideas made worse,” says David Pogue of the New York Times. I couldn’t agree more. Even when attached to the new MagSafe socket on the latest Airs and MacBook Pros, the new plug is not a patch on the old design. It comes off far too easily. And with that crazy little adaptor attached, the whole edifice comes tumbling down at the slightest knock or prod. Back to the drawing board, please.
