It was only a few days ago I noticed that the useful “email link” had disappeared from the menu File menu in Mountain Lion. I hadn’t thought much more about it until I saw this article written by Pietro Montalcino in macography.net.
If you go to Safari’s File menu and select Share you will see three options: Email this page, Message, Twitter. As Pietro says, if you press shift while viewing these options the “email this page” option transforms into “email link to this page”.
Magic. It also shows you the shortcut keys: cmd-I for email the page and shift-cmd-I to email the link. Thanks to Pietro, this is my little triumph over the system for Friday, August 31.
