The Bloc from Austin White of thoughtfuldesign.net is here. For the past year or so I have been following Austin’s efforts to design, produce and market this great little device. It is now ready for shipping from here.
The wooden base for Apple TV and remote comes in three finishes, cherry, maple and walnut and measures 8in x 5.25 x .75 in. Apart from the simple utility of the Bloc, it serves a very useful purpose in keeping the Apple TV in place. As we all know, the cables are forever dragging the unit out of line.
Congratulations to Austin on bringing this accessory to market. The good news is that it costs only $38.95 (around £25) excluding tax and shipping. I’ve ordered mine already.
