Faster charging coming to iPad today

Apple will announce an upgraded 12w charger for iPads at today’s event in San Francisco. Slow charging with the old 10w unit has been a common complaint since the iPad was born and it looks like this beefier unit could improve charge times considerably. 9to5Mac also discloses a range of Lightning adapters, including USB, SD card, VGA and Digital AV, designed to complement the new Lightning-equipped iPad range.
