iOS 6 and application passwords

Over the last couple of weeks I have been plagued with password quests on applications I sync with cloud services. This has happened repeatedly with Drafts, the Squarespace apps and several others. It seems to occur on both iPad and iPhone. I haven’t heard any similar stories but it would be interesting to hear if anyone else has experienced this behaviour. It occurred to me that all this has happened since the latest upgrade to iOS 6.
