Reports are coming in that Apple is quietly ugrading trial copies and even illegal versions of iWork and iLife as part of its move to make productivity software free to all. This doesn’t surprise me and, in fact, it is a smart move. It’s akin to an amnesty for illegal iWorkers and makes for a happy and forward-looking eco-system.
