Thorsten Overgaard is one of the world’s foremost Leica experts and writers who has an enviable repution not just in his native Denmark but throughout the photographic world for his incisive reporting and imagery. This weekend he has been hosting one of his popular photography workshops in London and he threw the penultimate evening open to the wider Leica community for a get-together. I went along, having been alerted only this morning by the l-forum. It proved to be a fascinating experience and I met some great photographers, some of whom were taking part in the course and others who were casual visitors like me. The Leica community is very active and over the past couple of years I have made a number of good friends sharing a common interest in photography. Next month Thorsten will be running workshops in San Francisco, Boston and New York and has a full programme for the remainder of 2014.

Great report! Thank you for being there! Hope to see you soon in a workshop! <3 <3
