According to Vogue, Apple’s new head of retail, Angela Ahrendts, is to be made a Dame of the British Empire, presumably in recognition of her work as CEO of Burberry. As a result, Sir Jonathan Ive will not be the only knight around the table at Cupertino. Meanwhile, up the west coast in Seattle, Dame Melinda makes her debut as Mrs. Gates is rewarded for her charitable works.
