Samsung will soon have a ready-made network of over sixty retail stores throughout Europe, including twenty in the UK. The Korean company has piggy-backed on the extensive retail network of British company, Carphone Warehouse. The stores, which will offer Samsung products exclusively, will be managed and operated by CW under a new partnership agreement.
This is a good move for Samsung provided the retail experience can be made as satisfying as that at Apple Stores. It isn’t just a matter of displaying all the products effectively, there is the need for staff enthusiasm and training, not to mention a first-class after-sales service.
