I am a great fan of Andrew Kim and his website Minimally Minimal. His love of good design is palpable and his photography is exceptional. His latest post reviews the Lamy CP1 fountain pen and the gorgeous Pilot Iroshizuku ink in Shin-kai (deep blue) which Andrew describes as a rich blue-grey. I don’t need a new fountain pen and I have often looked at the Lamy CP1 in various pen shops without a great desire to buy. But Andrew’s view on things changes all that. I can now see a CP1 and a bottle of that wonderful ink in my future.
