I found Christian Arndt and his friend from Burgwedel, near Hanover, busy jumping for their iPad in front of Cologne cathedral. It isn’t the ideal camera, so I stepped in with a more professional outfit. Below, an altogether more sedate occasion a few minutes later with these visitors in full Kaffeeklatsch mode. Both shots taken with Leica M and 50mm Summilux ASPH (the one lens I brought to Photokina)
