Choosing between the new iPhone 6 and the huge 6 Plus is a problem for everyone. I outline some of the differences in my article on Macfilos/tech. But what of photographers? Many, I know, carry an iPad as a showcase for favourite shots and there is no doubt that the larger screen of the Air or, even, the iPad mini, is a great showcase for photographs.
I decided to buy the iPhone 6 Plus and make it my primary portable device. Instead of carrying around iPad mini and iPhone, I hope to be happy with the mid-sized solution, often referred to as a phablet. The display of the iPhone 6 Plus is outstanding and will certainly flatter your best efforts, but will the screen be large enough? I am willing to give it a try. I have opted for the large 128GB memory with a few to storing my favourite portfolios. I will report on my experiences after more experience of the new iPhone.
I don’t think even the iPhone 6 plus wlll be suitable for showing off my pix. I’ll stick to the large iPad.
