Chiswick Camera Style: Japanese television team comes to remote London suburb

Inspired by the popular Tokyo Camera Style blog, my antenna vibrates whenever I see some serious photographic gear in the distance. But in Chiswick? The sleepy West London suburb isn’t the place you normally see interesting gear or serious photographers. Lots of actors and film stars, including a Bond or two. But cameras, that’s more the stuff of central London, Brick Lane or Portobello Road.

Luckily I had my little Ricoh GR tucked in the pocket of my Hackett jacket (no camera bag needed for this little body) and snapped a couple of shots. The interesting-looking visitors turned out to be from the Asahi TV travel documentary programme Sekai no kaidou o yuku

You can even buy the original soundtrack here on Amazon: My soul is restless, Now I’m going’ on, My soul is restless again, now I’m goin’ on on on…..even on to Chiswick. I am impressed.
