Out and about in his home town of Salzburg, Leica’s Dr. Andreas Kaufmann is trying to tell us something. The above picture, which I downloaded from Dr. K’s Facebook page, is a Kaufmann teaser. Rumour has it that he is using a new camera which will surprise us all. And it is no coincidence that this week Leica has called a series of press briefings all over the world. What could this new beast be? Although my lips are currently sealed, I can at least reproduce this picture of Getreidegaße in the lovely Austrian city, entirely without conjecture.
