Readers may remember our story about British photographer Brendan Barry and his wacky cameras. Well, Brendan has gone one step further with what is surely his most impractical creation, the shipping container camera. Brendan describes it as the world’s largest and slowest Polaroid camera. No zooming with your feet on this one.

The container camera, which has now been converted into a gallery of images taken during the camera phase, housed its own darkroom. It also served to host groups for photographic workshops — even wheelchair accessible.

Interestingly, in view of our article on Ilford films last week, the same production company, Explordinary, has produced the following video to show the container camera in action.
Leica mini lux the container!
Ha Ha Ha – Its mini lux vario don’t you know.. 🙂
