DxO announces updates for PhotoLab, PureRaw and FilmPack

DxO announces updates to PhotoLab, PureRaw, support for new cameras and lenses, and a brand-new version of DxO FilmPack.

PhotoLab 9

PhotoLab is a RAW editing suite for keen photographers. It combines outstanding noise reduction, compensation for lens softness, easy-to-use local adjustments, advanced colour science, lab grade lens corrections, and robust file management for easy organization.

New to version 9 are precise AI-powered masking tools that can recognise subject types. U Point remains a standout feature that allows intuitive local image adjustments.

When U Point and AI Masks are combined with Control Lines and Graduated Filters and Brushes, you have endless creative possibilities for your images, according to the company.

PhotoLab 9 also includes image and editing support for HEIC/HEIF and ProRAW files captured on iOS devices, whether you are editing images captured on your iPhone or iPad.

Included are the outstanding DeepPRIME denoising/demosaicing tools, and Lens Sharpness Optimization that improve support for X-Trans sensors with DeepPRIME XD3 X-Trans.

  1. So were there any changes to DxO FilmPack? I am still seeing DxO FilmPack 7 on the website which I believe was released already a few years ago.
