HERE'S A SURPRISE new feature of iPhone 3.0 OS–the ability to remote wipe a stolen or lost iPhone. All data will be cleared so the thief will have no access to your private data. If the phone is subsequently found, all data can be recovered by a restore from iTunes. Very useful.
