iPad Day: Apple sell 300,000 units on first day

Apple today announced that the company sold 300,000 iPads on April 3, the first day of availability. This figure includes pre-orders. In addition, over one million apps were downloaded from the AppStore and over 250,000 books from the new iBookStore.
