iPad 3G: No lines, no-hassle walkin, walkout

At two minutes past five last evening a friend and I strolled up to our local BestBuy at Tenleytown in DC and walked out with two 64GB iPad 3Gs. No line, no hassles BUT, also, so sign of the smaller-memory models. It seems if you want to be first with the 3G you need to go top of the range. 

Frustratingly I had a dinner date this evening so couldn't play. First reactions will come tomorrow.
