Two days before UK iPad day and the networks seem to be ignoranti and totally unprepared. My local Vodafone store manager had never heard of a micro-SIM and, even when promoted, had no idea when one would be available. O2 were more forthcoming: the new SIMs would be available but not until next Friday, one week after the iPad launch. I would like to remind all UK networks that I was able to walk into a Swisscom store in Zurich three weeks ago and come out with a micro-SIM. So why is the UK so far behind, as usual? The word useless springs to mind.
