Kindle: New audio visual add-on for iDevices

This morning Amazon added a surprise to its Kindle apps – but only for the trio of iDevices, iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. We're to get audio visual support to allow us to take full advantage of a new breed of multi-media book. There are very few such tomes at the moment, but the new support will surely encourage growth. The first books to take advantage of the new technology, including Rick Steves' London and Together We Cannot Fail by Terry Golway, are now available in the Kindle Store. But not, please note, for the Kindle book reader itself.
