Mac App Store will help reduce the cost of Apple software

How many times have you forked out for iLife because you really wanted iPhoto but care little about iMovie and absolutely nothing about Garage Band. Or iWorks when all you really wanted was Pages and Numbers rather than the whole shebang. Mac App Store now comes to the rescue because bundled software is soon to become a thing of the past. As with the iPad, you will soon be able to buy the individual components of these Apple bundles individually and thus save a heap of money. With the demise of the built-in DVD drive and the move to instant downloads from the Mac App Store, there will soon be no need for boxed software and we can all cut down on our costs. Apple retail stores will need to find a new use for those shelves currently displaying hot software.
