The deal is done; Microsoft and Windows 7 Mobile are now strategically aligned with former giant of the mobile world, Finland's Nokia. Thus we have four major players – Apple, RIM (BlackBerry), Android and Windows/Nokia in the smartphone world. It's no bad thing: let them slug it out and the consumer is likely to be the winner.
