It seems that Apple have been invited selected MacBook Air customers to give them their views on what they would like to see in future enhancements of the current models. AppleInsider reproduces the questionnaire and it makes very interesting reading. Among the items up for discussion are the inclusion of a 3G modem, data syncing, I/O usage and the demand for models with faster computing capabilities. The survey covers a number of issues including USB ports and external disk drives, web-based storage and syncing. Several questions relate to 3G connectivity which leads Appleinsider to surmise that Apple could be considering the idea of built-in cellular connectivity in future models. This can’t come soon enough for me. A micro-SIM slot a la iPad or iPhone would do nicely, thank you.
