Glad to see that Apple UK have abandoned the odious free-for-all that tarnished the iPad 2 rollout and allowed grey marketers to make things tough for genuine punters. iPads can now be reserved for in-store delivery in a reprise of the iPhone 4 launch where everyone knew where he stood–which wasn’t behind a line of foreign agents clutching wads of cash. Sense at last, and I hope Apple has learned an important lesson from the hysteria and frustration of the launch last month.
