Horace Dediu, the sage of Finland, has had to upgrade his Apple forecasts for the third time since the beginning of the year.
Following the launch of the iPad 2, the arrival of the Verizon iPhone and the continuing boom in China, he is more bullish.
Given these new facts coming to light he has raised his forecasts in line:
Revenue: $25.5 billion EPS: 6.43 iPhone unit sales: 18.4m iPod unit sales: 10m Mac unit sales: 3.6m iPad unit sales: 7.3m Gross margin percentage: 39.9%
Resulting EPS growth would thus be 93%.
I have a lot of faith in Horace and it will be interesting to see which of his Asymco predictions—January, March or April turn out to be the most accurate. Whichever it is, this is impressive growth.
