Calvetica versus Calendar for iOS: The verdict

Dr. Drang has spoken and Calvetica has slipped off his home screen. last week I mentioned Leancrew’s seemingly heretical observations that Calvetica might not be the wunderapp that most tech bloggers have proclaimed. Now Dr. Drang has reached the end of his evaluation and has decided to move back permanently to Calendar. I agree with his conclusions. I do like the appearance of Calvetica but in my opinion it offers little advantage over the built-in iOS calendaring app. And in some ways the business of adding and amending appointments is less intuitive and more cumbersome than in Calendar. It’s a pity, but I’ve also restored Calendar to my home screen.
