Figures collated by Horace Dediu at Asymco show that Mac growth has slowed since the introduction of the iPad, despite the fact that Apple’s computer market share is growing five times as fast as the PC market. As Tim Cook said at the earnings call last week, there is definitely some cannibalisation of the OS X market, but the main victims of the iPad are the PC manufacturers, especially the netbook crew.
