I was enthused to find lots of alternative voices in Lion. Bye, bye Alex with his American accent, hello Daniel with your not-very-dulcet English tones. Two weeks later I am throughly fedup with British Daniel and his inability to pronounce common words. Alex could say my name, Michael, with great accuracy. Daniel, on the other hand, thinks I am Mitch-ee-al. Poor old duffer Dan can’t pronounce much with any accuracy. I haven’t tried the many other offerings, not even the seductive Irish Moira, and I’ve returned back to Alex’s transatlantic but welcoming arms. Why is Daniel so bad, I wonder?
