Please, Apple do something interesting the first week of October

Having just scheduled a week in the Bay Area in early October I am now willing Apple to do something interesting that week. Maybe a belated launch of the iPhone 5 or, even, an update to the Mac Pro. It would be nice to be on the spot, with a nice hotel in Berkeley already booked. Unfortunately the odds are lengthening after the announcement that there will be a media event in September, the usual iPod and iTunes affair. Looks like I will be disappointed. Still and all, I’ll get in a quick trip to One Infinite Loop and maybe buy me a tee shirt.
