Day One: Amazingly, the journal continues day by day

At the beginning of the month I reviewed Day One, a very simple no-bells-and-whistles journaling app for Mac, iPad and iPhone. It continues to impress and I am now on my 88th consecutive day of diary keeping. Sync via Dropbox works for me. Samuel Pepys might not have been impressed but I certainly am. There’s something about Day One, especially if it is sitting on the home screen of an iOS device, that just begs to be kept up to date. There’s a lot of dross in there, of course, because exciting days are rare. But the key to journaling is regularity and consistency.
