Steve Jobs: Everyone mentions Steve, not just Apple fans

The death of Steve Jobs has touched the masses. His “Death is Life’s Best Invention” speech of 2005 has been viewed nearly ten million times since Wednesday. It isn’t just Apple fans who are sad but, seemingly, everyone. Viewing the flowers, apples and post-it notes outside the San Francisco store this morning, I was reminded of the scenes after the death of Princess Diana back in 1997. I cannot remember another similar occasion when there was such an outpouring of emotion.
