Update: The wheels of Old MacIntosh’s server farm are indeed grinding exceeding slow. Stuck on “11 minutes” to go for the past ten minutes.

Now trying to download the OS X and Lion Recovery updates on my iMac: “About 2 hours” at the moment. Those servers are getting overloaded already.
