Steve Jobs: California remembers a son

Today is Steve Jobs Day in California. A memorial will be held at Stanford University later today, attended by many of the great and the good from Silicon Valley’s tech community. A larger event for Apple employees will take place in an outdoor amphitheatre on the Apple Campus at Cupertino at 10 am Pacific Time (6 pm London) on Wednesday . All Apple Stores throughout the world will close for one hour while staff watch a live webcast of the event.
