Apple announced this morning that they moved four million 4S boxes in the thee days from last Friday to Sunday. This is twice the number of sales in the similar period following last year’s launch of the iPhone 4. They say that over 25 million users have downloaded iOS5 software in the first five days and 20 million have signed up for iCloud.
Far from being a “disappointing” phone because it didn’t have a shiny new exterior, the iPhone 4S is shaping up to be the most successful iPhone ever. This bodes well for the quarterly earnings call tomorrow.
