It isn’t often I have much good to say about Nokia these days. Ten years ago I thought their phones were the cat’s pyjamas but they’ve lost their way seriously in the the age of the iPhone.
I’m glad, though, to see the new Lumia 800 which was launched today in London. Obviously I haven’t yet seen it, nor tried it. But the photographs look good and the first impressions by journalists are positive.
Could this be the start of the fight back by Nokia and Windows Phone? If I weren’t committed to Apple (and the £600-worth of apps I’ve bought) I would be looking seriously at this device.
