New iPad shipped to London, new owner shipped to China

Friday was one of those good news/bad news days. First came an email from Apple to tell me my new iPad had shipped from China and would be with me on March 16. Then came the bad: I suddenly relealised that next Friday I shall be sitting in China while my iPad sits in London. What a bummer. If only I could have had it shipped to my hotel in Beijing. Of course it will do me good to wait in suspense for a few more days and, dear readers, you will be spared my YouTube unboxing video. Instead, I shall pontificate from afar.
