Since installing the Belkin Thunderbolt Express dock on Tuesday I have detected what could be a power supply problem leading to random ejection of connected disk drives. I have outlined the situation in an addendom to my earlier post on the dock. In a nutshell, the dock seems to have problems when connected to a 110-volt supply which are cured when it is attached to 220 volts.
NOTE: See the earlier post (link above) for updates. Despite connecting the dock to a 240-volt supply the random dropping of drives continues. It happens also to those drives with an independent power supply, so it would seem that power is not the issue.
