George James: Street photography at its best

0

George James, a photographer I respect very much, has just returned  from a fruitful photographic excursion to Florence and Venice where he exercised his considerable skills at street photography. I am reproducing some of the great results from his Leica Monochrom and 50mm Summilux ASPH. As I know from my own experience, the Monochrom works exceptionally well with the fifty Lux and both George and I feel that the 50mm focal length is making a comeback for street work after being overshadowed for several years by the wider 35mm lenses. Great photographer, great lens, legendary camera: What more could you ask?
